This privacy document applies to the Grok app pilot being piloted by the Australian National University in 2024. The app was developed by The Project Factory ('app developer').

Your app data comprises of:
There is no other personal information collected in the app, such as geolocation or date of birth.
Purpose of collecting app data
Your app data will be used to contact you during the pilot and to support the evaluation of the app by ANU.
Your app data will be collected automatically in the app and stored on a secure server used by the app developer in Australia. Your app data will be securely transferred by the app developer to the ANU research team for analysis.
After the conclusion of the evaluation of the pilot, your app data will be held securely by the ANU research team and the confidentiality of the data will be preserved at all times. ANU may hold your app data from this research for up to five (5) years, for any related research in the future, contribute further to science and knowledge, or as required by law.
Participating in the app pilot and using the app is voluntary. There is no consequence if you participate or choose not to participate.

Right to Request and Delete Data
You have the right to access your data and request it be deleted. This is possible until the study concluded and the data is de-identified at the end of Semester 1, 2024. If you would like this to occur, please submit your request to emma.dunstone@anu.edu.au.
